I have an old concrete donkey flower cart that is in need of repair, a couple of the legs have chipped off sections revealing the metal rod used for support. What product would best help to repair/ build up the legs again?

I have the same probem with one of my seven dwarfs... please let me know if you ever found anything that works... I heard car bondo... but not sure if it is "moldable" to be made into part of the legs... thanks

JB Weld is pretty good. The right mix allows for spreadable consistency. Also the Billy Mays Mighty Putty works well, too.

Bondo is very "moldable"  I used to do autobody repair.  You wouldn't want to create a whole leg at once, but if you are filling in missing pieces it will work well for that.  Just read the directions to get the correct amount of hardner mixed in.  I used a stiff piece of cardboard to use as a pallet of sorts.   (mix small amounts at a time)

I have the same problem!  A 60+ year old donkey statue that has only the iron leg posts and exposed iron parts of the ears.  I'm trying to find out the best way to "sculpt" the statue back to as original form as possible, but haven't had much luck.  If you got any responses on how to do this, I would LOVE to know how!  I'm no artist, but I would LOVE to try to do this!  I intend to repaint him if I can fix him.  ANY help would be greatly appreciated!
